Modular Commune celebrates 10 years together with 141 performing modular artists at the coming show on November 12-16, 2025

Modular Commune Festival 2025 is the second year since we made the show international, but it has actually been running locally since 2015! For this reason, we have put together a very special show with a fully loaded non-stop schedule schedule and the largest exhibition we have had to date. We can now share the highlights! 

Performances will be on continuously on two stages – Modular live stage and Ambient stage in Dolby Atmos. 141 artists bring 123 performances over three days, or about 47 hours of modular madness!

For the first time ever, we have invited 4 heavyweights to give deep lectures to share their expertise in 3 hour long master classes! They include HATAKEN, Julia Bondar, Gervis, and Tatsuya Takahashi. 

We are beyond excited to have developers from all across the globe coming to showcase their gear! We have even heard rumors of new product announcements on the agenda from some of them… We are also proud to have 18 local indie developers also on the scene.

In addition, there are a number of other activities, such as a Novice Village for newcomers to learn about the basics of modular, Artists’ market for creators’ showcase, DIY workshops by Error Instruments, Bastl, Making Sound Machines, Meng Qi Music, and Mad Kids Empire, a pop-up museum of samplers, and 41 product demo sessions/workshops from our exhibitors and artists. Finally there will also be two afterparties, ambient on Friday and techno on Saturday.

If it was not enough with modular live performances continuously from 2pm-10pm, there are also two after parties for good measure! The lineup includes an extravagant list of artists from 4 continents and 16 countries. If there is a reward for most epic modular party of the year, we are awaiting the nominations.

The festival will be held in a single venue of 3600m² called Gearing Space in 798 Art District. Gearing space is a refurnished old gas production facility, and some gas production equipment are still preserved there, forming a unique architectural style. It is an industrial style site that integrates lifestyle, music technology, and intelligent experience.
