The Modular Commune Festival Beijing is back November 13-16, 2025

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, brothers and sisters, comrades and friends, The Modular Commune is returning with an international festival in 2025! It will take place in a new venue, the Conduction Space in 798·751 Community, Beijing on November 13-16.

The festival will be a held in a 3600m2 space fully packed with programs including dedicated areas for Expo, Modular Live, Ambient Live, Dolby Atmos, Master Classes, DIY and other workshops and seminars, Kids Discovery Zone, Novice Village, Afterparties, Artists’ Market, and more!

We have also put together some analytics from the last festival, here is a recap of the last Modular Commune from November 2024:

  • 20,000+ visitors;
  • 100+ live performances;
  • 50 exhibitors;
  • 38 workshops;
  • 9 hours of DIY workshops;
  • 5 afterparties;
  • And finally a total of 1 burnt module.

The Modular Commune Festival is Asia’s largest trade show and performance event for modular synths and other electronic music instruments. It is a non —profit event made possible by passionate volunteers from across and beyond the industry. Modular Commune has been held since 2015 and the first international iteration was held in 2024. It is a platform for exchanging ideas, showcase new sounds and products, make new connections and engage with musicians showing their work live.
