Alan Ip

Born in Hong Kong and now based in London, Dr. Alan Ip is a music composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and vintage musical instrument collector. As a founding member of Minimal, a pioneering Hong Kong electronic group in the late 1980s, he has contributed to a wide range of music productions across Hong Kong and China. Before moving to London, Alan has been living in Beijing and co-founded the electronic music duo Ambient Intelligence with Yanlo, merging cutting-edge music technology with experimental sounds. Professionally, Alan has a background in electric and computer engineering, with specialized expertise in cloud computing and AI from top multinational companies.
