ARCHITECT

ARCHITECT is the musical alter ego of Alex Damboianu, a Romanian-born, Chongqing-based architect and audio/visual artist, also part of the experimental music duo ATELIER II. Like his architecture, the sound proposed by Alex is abstract, overwhelming, brute, meditative, introspective, existential, and sometimes disturbing. In the past yers his compositions and live performances were very restrictive in terms of rhythm but there is a new inclination towards techno genre.

ARCHITECT是Alex Damboianu的另一个自我，他是罗马尼亚出生、重庆定居的建筑师和视听艺术家，同时也是实验音乐二重奏ATELIER II的成员。就像他的建筑一样，亚历克斯的声音也是抽象的、压倒性的、粗暴的、冥想的、内省的、存在主义的，有时甚至是令人不安的。在过去几年中，他的作品和现场表演在节奏选用都非常克制，而如今则愈发往techno音乐发展。
