Ayshém (Ai Shan) 艾闪

Ayshém (Aishan) is a cross-genre musician based in Beijing, working as a lyricist, composer, vocalist and performer. “Ay” stands for passion, while “shém” symbolizes creative inspiration. Combined, they form her Chinese stage name Aishan, which embodies inspiration ignited by love.

Her rigorous classical performance training has cultivated her acute musical sensibility and supreme mastery of sound. Later drawn to the diverse independent music scene, she developed a free-spirited creative ethos influenced by punk rock. The vivid 8-bit melodies experienced at live houses immersed her fully in the boundless allure of electronic music. She first stepped into this realm creating retro beats on Gameboy NanoLoop, and has since explored endless creative possibilities within electronic soundscapes through modular hardware and computer-based production.

She has collaborated with numerous independent Chinese musicians on singles and cross-genre vinyl releases. Later, she founded her own label ZEIT HAUS to explore and define her unique musical vision. Her signature track U R MY POSSIBILITY was co-created with D&B artist Radiax, with post-production delivered by a team of seasoned industry professionals. Her debut studio album Perspective II, along with two full-length modular improvisation albums, were all released under ZEIT HAUS.

Currently, she presents her iconic live sets of modular hardware improvisation on prestigious stages including Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland, the 10th Interchange in Beijing and Suzhou Culture and Arts Centre. Rooted in the delicate texture of classical music and blended with avant-garde electronic sounds, her two musical disciplines maintain their distinct boundaries while harmoniously coexisting. With consummate command of electronic hardware, she reimagines dance music through cross-border expression with contemporary art, crafting a one-of-a-kind auditory aesthetic across diverse artistic spaces.

Ayshém（艾闪），来自北京的跨界音乐人。集作词、作曲、演唱，演奏于一身。Ay寓意热爱，shém象征灵光，二者相融成为中文名“艾闪”，意为在爱中灵感闪现。

严谨典雅的古典演奏训练，锤炼了她精准的乐感与对声音的极致把控力。当目光转向多元的独立音乐场景，受朋克摇滚等音乐的影响，让她种下自由的音乐创作态度，Livehouse中灵动的8-Bit旋律，则让她沉浸于电子音乐的无限魅力。Gameboy NanoLoop书写复古节拍是她打开电子音乐世界的开端，模块硬件、电脑编曲，则是她在电子声场中尽情挖掘的无限可能性。

她与国内一众独立音乐人打造音乐单曲与跨界独立音乐黑胶唱片后，开始依托个人厂牌 ZEIT HAUS，思考独属她的音乐视角。代表作《U R MY POSSIBILITY / 你是我的可能性》联合D&B音乐人Radiax联袂演绎，并集结多位业内资深音乐人倾力完成。随后个人首张正式专-Perspective II / 二次透视以及两张纯模块即兴专辑，均在该厂牌发行。      


如今，她带着标志性的模块硬件即兴现场，登上瑞士蒙特勒音乐节、北京第十届「交流方式」、苏州文化艺术中心等重磅舞台。在她的音乐成长中，古典音乐根基赋予的细腻质感，与电子音乐相互交融，俩种音乐形态各有边界又自然共生。她用硬核的电子硬件，诠释舞曲音乐与当代艺术的跨界表达。也让她在不同音乐场景中，构筑独树一帜的听觉美学。
