Badiation 黑体辐射

Badiation, a Beijing-based electronic duo consisting of Wáa and Nous, blends techno, breakbeat, and industrial styles to create a unique sound that explores the balance between listenability and experimentation in electronic music. Their music delves into the mysterious and uncharted territory between rationality and sensibility.      

黑体辐射 is the Chinese name for Badiation, which means “Black Body Radiation”, a type of electromagnetic radiation emitted by a black body, which is a perfect absorber and emitter of radiation. This name suggests that the band’s music is complex and sophisticated, yet still has a certain accessibility.
