Black Potion
Black Potion (Fei Fei) YiFei Wang is an electronic music artist, modular synth performer, sound designer, music producer, DJ, pianist, and harpist. She crafts blistering techno soaked in industrial decay, EBM urgency, rhythmic noise, and acoustic tension. Her sets don’t entertain—they confront, rupture, and rewire.
Classically trained since age 5, she moves fluidly between analog, digital, and acoustic worlds, using modular synths, DAWs, instrument recordings, and foley to push sound beyond borders. For her, the studio and stage are playgrounds where anything is sonically possible.
Her journey began in Beijing’s underground at 18, She cut her teeth at the legendary Lantern Club, quickly rising to headline across China.
At Berklee College of Music in Boston, she refined her sonic identity through studies in Electronic Music Production, Sound Design & Game Audio. She earned a residency at Infra Boston and shared stages with Phase Fatale, Sophia Saze, Black Asteroid (Prince’s former engineer), and Axkan. Her performances have taken her to The Lot Radio in NYC, the Museum of Science Boston And various venues in the U.S. interview fetrued on Modular World, One standout moment includes performing alongside Berklee mentor Daedelus (Ninja Tune), transforming a sterile venue into a kinetic soundstorm.
Now based in Shanghai, she continues expanding her global presence. Her debut vinyl dropped on Flagelante (Portugal/Osaka), followed by a release on Colombia’s Magdalena label, and film sound design work for the LUFF film festival—each project a testament to her uncompromising sonic vision.

Black Potion FeiFei (YiFei Wang)是一位电子音乐艺术家、模块合成器演奏者、声音设计师、音乐制作人、DJ、钢琴与竖琴演奏者。她的声音融合工业腐蚀下的爆裂Techno、EBM的紧迫感、节奏性噪音与声学张力。她的现场不为取悦，而是撕裂、重塑并重新连接听觉系统。
自5岁起接受古典音乐训练，她灵活游走于模拟、数字与声学世界，使用模块合成器、DAW、乐器录音与拟音技术，不断拓展声音边界。录音棚与舞台，是她尽情释放声音想象力的游乐场。
她的音乐旅程始于18岁在北京地下音乐场景，活跃于Lantern Club等地标性空间，迅速在全国展开巡演。
在美国伯克利音乐学院学习电子音乐制作与声音设计期间，她确立了鲜明的声音语言，并获得Infra Boston驻场机会，曾与Phase Fatale、Sophia Saze、Black Asteroid（Prince前音响师）、Axkan等艺人同台。她的演出履历涵盖纽约The Lot Radio、波士顿科学博物馆，MIT 媒体实验室、Modular World。 她的现场以混沌、不可预测的原始电压感知著称。与伯克利导师Daedelus（Ninja Tune）和Colin Russel 同台演出，将冷静空间转化为充满爆发力的声音风暴。
目前常驻上海，她持续拓展影响力。首支单曲VA黑胶作品由葡萄牙/大阪厂牌Flagelante发行，后续登陆哥伦比亚 BoilerRoom 艺人 Magdalena厂牌，并为LUFF电影节艺术影片担纲声音设计工作。她的每一个项目，都是对声音边界与表达自由的坚定回应。
