Bunyi is a Malaysian electronic music artist and modular synthesist based in Kuala Lumpur. He is obsessed with patch cables, knobs and blinking lights. He creates improvised electronic music somewhere between techno, ambient, IDM and experimental sounds. His performances focus on spontaneity, rhythm and evolving textures. He never really knows where a patch will take him, but that’s exactly the fun of it. He enjoys the unexpected, the happy accidents and whatever strange thing comes out of his modular synths.
