sound is often like a gallop of rhythms gathered for a trance ceremonial around the fire pit like in the Old times when time never existed . Together with the repetitive drums , the story is permanently writing itself , amplifying at times or others the sound of wind in the tree leaves, the fire crackling, some whispers of unheard talks, a shout to reunite closer to the fire, some tears and crying filled with fears, some laughs of happiness , poetry and chants.

Laurent L aka Lochoi builds sounds and devices like instruments he uses for his compositions . He started to Dj in 94 and soon after was experimenting with samplers , Fx processors and multi tweakable machines . Since 2003 he is the sounder and programmer of the audio-visual duo *LLND .

*LL’s sets are a blend between electronic dance music , field recordings and live remixing .
In the 90’s he took part to the first outdoor raves , 2001 he played for the opening of the Bed club in Miami, 2004 at the opening of shanghai Biennale . He played around the world with his sounds , in Berlin , New york, Chicago, Paris , Italy , Poland, Belgium, Holland …

Laurent Lettrée，又名 觉然——法国艺术家、声音炼金术士，以及偶尔和植物说悄悄话的人。

从 90 年代开始，我就一直在创造声音、装置，以及各种奇奇怪怪的电子生命体。几乎每一次新的演出，我都会为它重新制作一种乐器或装置——大概因为对我来说，普通乐器总觉得还差那么一点意思。
最近，我开始和一颗装满传感器的巨型大脑雕塑一起演奏，同时让一株活生生的植物即兴地用法语和中文开口说话。不知道为什么，这一切组合在一起，居然还挺合理。

无论这场旅程最终呈现为纯声音、视听现场、Tekno、Bass、Ambient，还是 Noise，它真正的目的地从来都不是某一种音乐类型。它更像是一场通往“当下”的迷幻旅程——进入一个关于自由、本能与感知变化的空间。

我把每一次现场演出都想象成一部没有固定剧本的情绪声音电影：一部分是仪式，一部分是实验，还有一部分像幻觉。

我和观众一起进入其中，在超现实的自然、电子意识，以及我们自身精神世界中那些陌生而隐秘的风景之间漂流。
