R Ξ Π

R Ξ Π, an Industrial Techno DJ and producer from Beijing, is a member of both Metasonar and SILK.  Skilled in using Techno to recreate the ambiance of Beijing’s industrial era, he showcases the “industrial landscape” of the early days of socialist construction. This is not only a retrospective of Beijing’s early industrial age but also an experimental expression exploring the fusion of Techno with socialist aesthetics, brutalism, and East Asian spirit. Through this approach, R Ξ Π aims to establish a new connection in his music, evoking resonance with the vanished industrial beauty of Beijing and prompting reflection on the underlying aspects of industrial society.
